A forty-five minute to one hour long session dedicated to discussing recent events and historical information necessary to identify primary psychiatric concerns.  This process will allow us to formulate an effective treatment plan to start you toward well- being. 

A twenty to thirty minute session dedicated to following up on progress and adjusting the treatment plan to achieve maximum results.  

Genetic testing can reduce the trial and error of selecting the right  psychotropic medication for yourself.  The way in which medications are eliminated (metabolized) from the body is thought to be affected by our  genes. This metabolism can affect a medication's effectiveness and potential for adverse effects.  Genetic testing aims to avoid much of the trial & error.

Traditionally, the diagnosis of ADD/ADHD has been made through Psychiatric evaluation. However, if desired, you may also undergo testing which will be used in conjunction with your evaluation to determine if you may have ADD/ADHD.  This is a one time test conducted at any time following your initial evaluation.
