Welcome to Berkeley Medicine & Consulting Psychiatry

How do I get my medications?

During your appointment, your medication will be prescribed electronically to the pharmacy you provided. Sufficient refills will be provided to last until your next recommended appointment time. 

Please be sure to schedule your appointment within the recommended time to avoid running out of medication. 

Please be aware that we do not participate in automatic medication refills. 

Why does the pharmacy automation / app say I’m out of refills?

It seems that the pharmacy automation and apps don't always display when new scripts are sent in. If the automation or app says your are out of medication, please ask the pharmacy staff, not the automation or the app, to ensure there are no further refills or new prescriptions on file. 


Please check to see if you have missed an appointment or forgot to schedule a follow up in time. 


Otherwise, you should call the office and let me know which medication you need. Please leave the pharmacy name & full address, including zip code on the voicemail.

What if I missed my appointment and am running out of medication?

There will be a charge for any refills provided outside of appointment times due to missed appointments. Payments can be made via the link on the payment page. Please allow 5 days for any prescriptions to be called in. Fees are as follows: 

a) $50 per 30 day supply controlled substance (limit of one)

b) $25 per 30 day supply non – controlled substance (90 day supply not allowed)
